NEW INFORMATION:

September... is there a song about September?

I'm sure there is one. Not quite Monday, Monday by the  Mama's and the Papa's, but SOME September song....

At any rate, September is barreling down on us - to me it feels as if it's already half over and it hasn't even begun yet.  School is back in session, the new season of soccer has started with practices so afternoons / evenings around here are already booked until at least November, the weather is WEIRD -- usually we're overwhelmed with heat, this year, we've had exceptionally mild weather... and then there's this week, where yesterday was supposed to be 95-99, today is supposed to be 106, tomorrow back to 95 degrees, by Friday, it's supposed to be 85 or so and the weekend is set to top out at.... get this.... low 70's.  WEIRD. That's the word for it. WEIRD, and nothing but weird.  But, I'm not complaining, because it's better to be sailing along at 85 degrees than 115 for days on end.

The Book Fair is getting closer. There are less than four weeks until the Sacramento Fall Antiquarian Book Fair (yipes, I have WORK TO DO!!!) .  It's coming up on Saturday, September 18th, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  If you'd like free passes, let me know.

  IN OTHER NEWS:

My blog is available at the link below -- currently it's on a hit and miss basis for when I'm able to write and I feel like I have something to say.
