The spine ends and corners of the book covers have a bit of beginning bumping and edge wear. The paper covers have been made to look pearlized. The spine of the book has several noticeable creases. There is a noticeable crease to the front cover as well. The text pages are clean and bright, though the edges of the pages have some beginning toning due to the poor quality paper used. This book contains a series of novels, short stories, ballands, poems, and etc. from The Pearl. "The Pearl made its debut in London in July, 1879, the self-proclaimed journal of unblushing erotica for every taste. It flourished on the subterranean market until December, 1880, when it vanished as mysteriously as it had appeared."
