B&W Photographs; This is a set of two related DISBOUND articles from National Geographic Magazine. The text pages are clean and bright - they do, however, have the necessary staple holes where staples were removed. The first article: Our Foreign-Born Citizens, includes 18 pages (front and back), along with 36 black and white photographs and several black and white maps. The article discusses the issues of immigration in the face of the beginnings of World War I, and includes statistics on where the immigrants are coming from, their levels of education and poverty, etc. Photographers include Frederic C. Howe, and A. F. Sherman. This article is followed by a series f duo-tone photographs of children in their native lands and dress. There are 16 full page photographs in all, with most of the images of children in native costume.
