This copy includes an ink stamp of Fred Feary on the front pastedown page, a personalized bookplate with Feary's name on the front endpaper, and an inked signature of Feary on the second free page. Fred Feary was born in Stockton, CA on April 10, 1912 and died on April 20, 1994. He won 21 (KO 13) + lost 3 (KO 2) + drawn 4 = 28 rounds boxed 156 KO% 46.43 during his career. Boxing became an Olympic event (in modern Olympics) in 1904. The 1932 games featured only six participants in the heavyweight division. The Gold medalist for HW was Santiago Lovell from Argentina, the Silver medalist was Luigi Rovati from Italy, and Feary won the bronze in a walkover. ; Signed by Notable Personage, Unrelated
