Color Illustrations; This is a signed, limited edition, leatherbound copy. Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of extremely light bumping and rubbing. Gray leather covered boards have gilt lettering and decorations to the spine and gilt decorations to the front and rear covers. The text pages are clean & bright. Signed on the signature page in bluish / green ink (which has unfortunately bled a bit of yellow around the signature (and bled onto the reverse of the page). Endpapers are a gray moire silk. There is a silk bound in book mark as well. Included is a laid in unused Easton Press bookplate. All edges of the text block have gilding (AEG). Overall, a nice clean, bright copy. This was another of Bujold's Hugo Award winning stories. ; Signed by Author

Harlan Ellison reads his own story: "Jeffty is Five" which was the 1977 winner of the Nebula award for short story along with the Hugo award for Short story, the 1978 British Fantasy Award for Short Story and the World Fantasy Award winner for 1977 short story. The record is still in its original plastic wrap and is in nice condition overall. "The plastic wrap has been opened at the bottom rear corner so that Harlan could sign the sleeve: "Harlan Ellison / 1 Nov / 1996" To this has been added a custom traycase to protect the record from damage. ; Signed by Author

All three items are in clean, bright condition. The ext pages are clean and bright, though noticeably toned due to the acid content of the paper. The March 1956 edition has one page that has a smallish edge tear. Double Star was the first of Robert Heinlein's books to earn a Hugo Award (out of a total of Four).
