B&W Illustrations; This is a First American Edition. Very Good to near Very Good+ condition. Deep brown cloth covered boards have gilt lettering to the spine of the book. The bottom spine end has been chipped off below the sewn binding. There is some light scuffing to the book covers. The text pages are clean and bright, with some light toning to the pages. The front pastedown page has a rectangular splotch of glue residue (possibly from a removed bookplate). The free endpages have noticeable foxing. Several of the sections have some looseness / pulling where the sewing has loosened a bit. Illustrated throughout with line drawings.
