B&W Illustrations; This book is in Very Good+ to Near Fine- condition and has a Very Good+ dust jacket. The book and its contents are in clean, bright condition. The text pages are clean and bright. There is some spotting / foxing to the top edge of the text block. The dust jacket has one smallish edge tear to the top rear flap joint, but is otherwise clean and bright. "Eleven (peddlers) were walking through a field of rye. The rye was ripe and moving like waves in the wind, which made them think they were in the Red Sea."

It treats of old ways and old thoughts, but of these as re-lived in the Gaelic outlook of the twentieth century."
