B&W Illustrations; This book is in Very Good to Near Very Good+ condition. The book and its contents are in mostly clean, bright condition. Black cloth boards have gilt lettering and illustrations on both front and spine. There is some light bumping, rubbing and light fraying to the spine ends and corners of the book covers along with a light cracking to the cloth at the bottom front spine joint. The cloth has some light rubbing and several spots of ground-in dirt. The text pages are clean and bright. The endpapers are fully illustrated and there are 12 full page black and white illustrations, along with head and tail pieces and other small illustrations throughout by Frank C. Papé.
