Color & B&W; c1925. This book is in Very Good- condition and is lacking a dust jacket. The book covers have some light bumping and beginning edge wear to the spine ends and corners. There is a two inch patch of discoloration transferred from something. The text pages are mostly clean and bright. The front endpaper has been excised and then a portion of it has been glued onto the half title page with a previous owner's inked gift notatation dated 1925. This book has been illustrated throughout with black and white head and tail pieces and also with six full color plates along with the frontispiece and the title page. "Piping down the valleys wild, Piping songs of pleasant glee, on a cloud I saw a child, and he laughing said to me."
