Color Illustrations; Apparently published by the Saalfield company circa 1928 (there is no publishers information on this book at all). This edition is paperback. An oversized paperback edition approximately eleven and one quarter inches tall by eight and one half inches wide. The text pages are heavy textured, linen colored paper while the lettering throughtout is blue. Illustrated by Virigina Albert (the only signed illustration is the very last one). Text pages have some beginning foxing / spotting and some finger dirt. Last illustration appears to have gotten slightly wet as it has smeared a bit, though there is no visible water damage. Rear cover has noticable finger marking. Overall, a very good+ copy. "Peter Rabbit sat in the door of his house and busily chewed at a large, plump, juicy carrot. When I say the door of his house, I mean the hole in the sand-bank in which he dwelt with his Ma and his Pa and his brothers, Flopsy and Mopsy, and his little sister Molly Cotton-tail."
