Watson LITTLE BROTHER TO THE SCOUTS Chicago, IL Rand Mcnally 1920 3rd Printing Hardcover Very Good+ with no dust jacket Illustrated by Blanche Fisher Wright B&W Illustrations; Children's Book. Third printing with code: C-20 on bottom right corner of copyright page. Paper covered boards with fully illustrated front cover and red and black lettering to front cover. Spine ends of book have some nicking, edge wear and small bits chipped. Corners of book are also bumped and with light rubbing, bumping and nicks / chips. Front cover illustration is in very good condition overall with just a couple of light spots of discoloration and virtually no rubbing. Whitish covers and spine of book have noticeable darkening and yellowing from age / sunning. Text pages generally clean & bright. Text includes ten full color plates along with numerous black and white illustrations peppered throughout book. Several of the text pages have one or two pencil marks (and a couple in light pen) from previous owner. Previous owner's name inked on front pastedown. Overall, a very good- copy. --It's important to tell about Eric and Midget going shopping with Benson instead of with mother, because that's really how it all started - the Little Brothers scout troop at Grassybank. Dr. Brown wanted a troop, but all the mothers and fathers of that pretty suburban village said their boys were too young--. Price:
