B&W Illustrations; The book and its contents are in clean, bright condition. Brown paper covered boards have black lettering to the spine of the book. The text pages are clean and bright. Illustrated throughout with both black and white line drawings (by Jennifer Campbell) and full color plates by Yvonne Gilbert. The dust jacket is clean and bright. with one beginning edge tear to the top front flap joint and one small nick to the top rear spine joint. This book contains a series of folk tales including: The Unbroken Web, The Cat in the Sea, The Giant Eel, Mice in the Corn, The MOddey Dhoo, The Woodpecker, Crab, The Crimson Parrot, The Language of Animals, The Blind Boy and his Dog, Stan Bolovan and the Dragon, the Crow and the Daylight, The Rocks of Korsan, The Iron Wolf, The Nightingale, How Long will you Live?, Back of the Moon, A Hundred Times, The Robin, and, Prince Meerzat Istvan and the Horse of Dust and Thunder.

Color Illustrations; Children's Book. Spine ends & corners of book cover have extremely light bumping & rubbing. Illustrated, laminated paper covered boards have blue and blue-green lettering to the front cover of the book and red - yellow and green lettering to the spine of the book. The text pages are clean and bright. Endpapers are fully illustrated. There is one small spot to the front endpapers (at the top hinge joint where the papers come together) where the front pastedown and the front endpaper got stuck together and pulle leaving a bit of color loss to both -- the bit totals about an inch all together. Spine ends & corners of the dust jacket have a bit of very light bumping & rubbing. Overall, a nice bright copy. "Behold the Ship's Cat! B&W Illustrations; This book is in Very Good+ condition and has a Fine dust jacket. The book and its contents are in clean, bright condition. Text pages generally clean and bright. There is some beginning foxing (especially to half - title page) due to acid content of paper. The top edge of the text block has noticable yellowing / toning. The book includes 20 full color, full page illustrations by Yvonne Gilbert, along with numerous black and white line drawings by Jennifer Campbell. The dust jacket is crisp and clean.
