Color Illustrations; Sturdy reinforced library binding (but not ex library copy) . White covers of book have a bit of ground-in finger dirt. Rear bottom corner of book cover has a beginning edge tear with some very beginning fraying. Text pages clean & bright. There are a couple of dirty shoe marks to back endpapers & pastedowns. Overall, a very good+ copy. "Martin and Larissa bring ice to the city from the ice factory. They have made this trip for many years. The wagon load is heavy, and the street is hard. Larissa is carrying a colt in her belly, and this is the reason Martin is walking beside her. He is leading his horse very carefully by her bridle. The sun is rising over the houses."
