Andretti, Mario (with Bob Collins) WHAT'S IT LIKE OUT THERE? Chicago, IL Henry Regnery Company 1970 1st Edition; 1st Printing Hardcover Very Good in Very Good- dust jacket B&W Photographs; This book is in Very Good condition and has a Very Good- dust jacket. This book is in very good solid condition. There is a slight slant to the spine of the book from being read. The text pages are generally clean and bright, but do have some light toning. There is a previous owner's name inked on the front endpaper and both front and rear endpapers have noticeable toning. The price clipped dust jacket has several medium sized chips missing and there are several edge tears, nicks and some lifting and pulling to the laminate on the dust jacket. "On May 31, 1969, Mario Andretti won the Indianapolis 500-Mile Race. In winning he broke 15 of the 20 race records and established a race-speed average of 156.867 miles an hour. It's easily said, but it's not simply done - especially if your first glimpse of the United States occures when you are 15, a skinny Italian kid who knows little English and is straight out of an Italian displaced persons' camp."
