Color Illustrations; Children's Book. Sturdy reinforced library binding (but not ex library copy) . Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Text pages generally clean & bright. There is one spot of discoloration to front endpaper which looks like a tape shadow. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. Dust jacket has several smallish edge tears, some light bumping, rubbing & nicking & general edge wear. Difficult to find with dust jacket. This is NOT an Ex Library copy. --When Gogo the clown got a five-dollar raise in pay, he was so pleased that he decided to do something nice for all his friends. First he bought some pipe tobacco for Sigmund, the lion tamer. Then a powder puff for Caramela, the juggler, some bubble gum and a yo-yo for Ziggy,and a good book for the ring-master--.

Color Illustrations; Children's Book. Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Decorated paper covered boards have a green paper spine with white lettering. Both top and bottom spine ends of book cover have a bit of light bumping. Bottom edge of book cover has a couple of stray crayon marks from an industrious former reader (none of the marks are on the text pages however). Possible first edition, though impossible to verify from this publisher during this time period. Text pages are clean & bright. Endpapers are a solid muted pink color. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. Dust jacket has several small edge tears, nicks and some light generalized edge wear. Front dust jacket has the shadow of one erased crayon mark. Rear dust jacket has several small spots of dirt. Overall, a very good copy. "Paul and Arthur are a little boy and a large black and white bull respectively. They are still good friends, and one day while they are having a flag-raising ceremony, a small boat lands on the beach."
