B&W Photographs; Spine ends & corners of book cover have extremely light bumping & rubbing. Grey paper covered boards have a black cloth spine with gilt lettering. Text pages are clean & bright. White dust jacket covers have a bit of lightly ground-in dirt. Edges of dust jacket (especially top edges) have some light edge wear, nicking and beginning small edge tears. Overall, a nice bright copy. "The story of Frank Fools Crow, Ceremonial Chief of the Teton Sioux, is a unique account of ancient tribal traditions cherished and preserved despite the best efforts of white society to extinguish them. Born shortly after the calamitous battle of Wounded Knee in 1890, Fools Crow remembers his life from the early days of the reservations."
