Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Brown cloth covered boards have gilt lettering to spine of book. This volume is a second printing of the First American Edition. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. There is a smallish, but quite noticeable patch of rubbing to front cover of book right below title and a bit more light rubbing to spine of dust jacket, especially at spine curves. Top spine end of dust jacket has two very small edge tears with some light edge wear. There are two small edge tears to front dust jacket, one at bottom edge, the other at top edge. Text pages clean & bright. Top edge of book has been stained a dark purple. Overall, a very good copy. Dust jacket illustration by Bill Tinker. --The carretas lurch, the yoked oxen pant onward, and their drivers curse as they wind up the precipitous sierra roads, cross the bandit-ridden pass, and finally enter the plains and valleys of Chiapas to deliver their freight to the villages--.

Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of very light bumping & rubbing. Overall, a nice bright copy.
