B&W Photographs; Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of extremely light bumping and rubbing. Orangish - red paper covered boards have a green paper spine wigh black lettering. The text pages are clean & bright. The edges of the textblock have some beginning toning. Endpapers are a solid white color. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. There are a couple of small edge tears, some light edge wear and nicking and some light wrinkling to the edges of the dust jacket. Ther rear cover of the dust jacket (which is white) has noticeable toning in splotches (but not like foxing). Overall, a very good+ copy. "Charles O. Finley is undoubtedly the most controversial figure in baseball today. As owner of the Oakland A's he's built a championship team, with some of the brightest stars in the game, and also managed to earn a reputation as a revolutionary innovationist, penny-pinching miser, sentimental philanthropist, lovable oddball, infuriating tyrant, and canny master of - show biz sports -."
