Color Illustrations; Children's Book. First American Edition. This book is in Very Good+ to Near Fine condition and has a Very Good+ dust jacket. The book and its contents are in clean, bright condition. The text pages are clean and bright. There is a previous owner's name inked on the top corner of the front endpaper in black marker (neatly). The dust jacket has several small edge tears, nicks and some rubbing and light edge wear to the spine ends. "Late one night a young boy and his faithful companion climb aboard a toy train and set out on a trip around the world. Along the way, one by one, they encounter an elephant, a seal, a polar bear, and other endangered animals. Their marvelous escapades turn into quite a remarkable journey, with a surprise ending that will have both children and adults cheering."

"This is a picture of the Trub family, and here is a story about one of the mice, whose name is Trubloff. Trubloff was born at an inn. The inn was part of a little village in Central Europe where the winters were very cold and snowy."
