Illustrated, coated paper covered boards have orange / red lettering to the front cover and orange and black lettering to the spine of the book. The text pages are clean & bright. All pop-ups & moveable pieces are present & in very good working order. Overall, a nice bright copy. "The U.S. S. Palomino, searching for other life in space, finds the U.S.S. Cygnus, a hugh mystery ship which hovers on the edge of a giant Black Hole. Somehow, the Cygnus defies the force of gravity that would pull it inside the Black Hole. The Palomino decides to investigate and lands on the Cygnus."

Color Illustrations; First Edition thus -- this is the first Trade edition following a limited edition published by Circle Fine Art Press... this edition includes additional text. Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. White embossed paper / Vinyl (?) covered boards have gilt lettering to front cover and spine of book. There is one very small edge tear / nick to bottom front spine joint and a bit of light rubbing to rear spine joint right at bottom edge. Text pages are clean & bright. Endpapers are a solid dark red color. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. Dust jacket has several very small edge tears, nicks and some light edge wear. There is a one inch long semi-closed edge tear starting at top rear spine joint that also has a small chip missing right at the top. Bottom spine of dust jacket has a light waterspot along front spine joint. Overall, a very nice clean, bright copy.
