1st US trade edition. Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of very light bumping and rubbing. Blue cloth covered boards have gilt lettering to the spine and front cover of the book. Text pages are clean & bright. Endpapers are a solid olive green color. There is a faint shadow of a previous owner's pencilled name on half-title page. Bottom edge of book has remainder speckling. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. There is a smalll edge tear to the bottom front spint joint of the dust jacket which has some beginning wrinkling. Top spine end has some beginning rubbing as well. Overall, a very nice clean copy. This book is the sequel to THE DESTINIES OF DARCY DANCER, GENTLEMAN. "As the story opens, on the train westwards from the doubtful delights of Dublin. Through snowy Ireland towards his mid-winter estate. Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of extremely light bumping and rubbing. Mustard yellow cloth covered boards have a tan / buff cloth spine with bronze gilt lettering. The text pages are clean & bright. Endpapers are a solid tan color. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of very light bumping & rubbing. There is some beginning wear to the top spine end of the dust jacket -- tiny pinhole nicks to a small strip right at the top edge. There is also a small nick / tear with some beginning loss of color and one more very small edge nick / tear to the top rear edge of the dust jacket. The top front flap edge has a tiny bit of rubbing /wear as well. Overall, a nice clean, bright copy.
