New York Parents' Magazine 1962 1st Edition (?) Hardcover Very Good+ in Very Good+ dust jacket Illustrated by Leonard Weisgard
Color Illustrations; Children's Book. Possible first edition, though impossible to verify from this publisher during this time period. Spine ends & corners of book cover have extremely light bumping & rubbing. Text pages are clean & bright. Endpapers are fully illustrated. Previous owner's name on front endpaper in green ink -- unfortunately, the former owner was not using his best handwriting and the name has been printed twice (once for good measure by a teacher's hand?) in fairly large script on the front endpaper. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of very light bumping & rubbing. Bottom edge of front dust jacket has two small edge tears with some wrinkling associated. There are a couple of other very small semi-closed to closed edge tears to dust jacket in general, but overall, a crisp, clean copy with one quite noticeable flaw (the name ). This book is part of the Parents' Magazine Reading Readiness series. "What would happen if a mouse seemed larger than the largest lion, and a lion seemed smaller than the smallest mouse?...In a schoolyard, children run in terror from the tiny mouse, and wawnt to pick up the mighty lion and wheel him around in a doll carriage! In a museum, both are mistaken for exhibits - with hilarious results."
