B&W Illustrations; Children's Book. First illustrated edition thus. Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Blue cloth covered boards with black lettering to spine of book. Text pages clean & bright. Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Dust jacket has been price clipped. Top front edge of dust jacket has one very small edge tear. Bottom front edge of dust jacket has a small thin strip of lifting where something was pulled up and there is another small lifted patch by bottom front flap joint of dust jacket. Top spine end of dust jacket has a smallish edge tear. Previous owner used a very thin black marker pen to mark several small faces on the front dust jacket cover (why, I couldn't guess). Overall, a very good copy. --Whatever happened to the creatures left behind when Noah sailed off in the Ark? Many have wondered. Now Norma Farber, with insight and humor, creates a legend that ansers the time-old question--.

B&W Illustrations; The book and its contents are in clean, bright condition. Tan cloth covered boards have black lettering to the spine of the book. The text pages are clean and bright. Endpapers are a light brown / gray color. The dust jacket has several beginning edge nicks and bumps, along with one small edge tear to the bottom front spine joint. "It was the summer of 1665, and the plague was raging in London. The first death had occurred around Christmas of the year before. A parcel of silks shipped out of the Orient, and imported into England from Holland had begun the Epidemic." This book is adapted from Daniel Defoe's Journal of the Plague Year.
