Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Black cloth covered boards with purple lettering to spine. Text pages generally clean, though noticeably darkened and fragile due to acid content of paper. Price sticker adhered to front pastedown. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping, rubbing & edge wear. Top spine end has a smallish strip of dust jacket chipped away. There is another, smaller, thinner chip to bottom spine end of dust jacket along with a very small triangular chip from top rear dust jacket flap. Top front edge of dust jacket has several small edge tears. Top edge of front dust jacket has some very small, very light white spots. Overall, a very good copy. --The night that ace-producer Henry Bowland gave his -Atmosphere- party for the writers and stars of his forthcoming super-production, murder took the top billing. One man was there who had lived all his life off the skeletons in other people's closets; one man whose business it was to know the wrong things about the right people. He was an invited guest--.
