B&W Illustrations; Children's Book. Spine ends & corners of book covers have light bumping. Grey cloth covered boards have red gilt lettering to spine of book. Both top and bottom spine ends of book cover have lightish, noticeable bumping. Text pages are generally clean & bright. Endpapers (both front and rear) have some spotting and little bits of ground-in dirt. Dust jacket has several edge tears, nicks, chips and spotting. Dust jacket is also has some beginning sunning / darkening and several spots of discoloration -- it actually does sound worse than it looks. Overall, a very good- copy. --Long ago, in the small villages of Europe, Christmas was celebrated for twelve days. On the final night of the celebration, three poor workmen would dress themselves like the Three Kings of old and go about gathering food, coins, and good cheer from kindly villagers--.
