Front end paper has the shadow of previous owner's pencilled price (he used a heavy hand). Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. Dust jacket has been price clipped--though it looks to have been done by the publisher as there is a price to bottom front flap & that is not clipped. Overall, a very good copy. --Eleven-year old Henry gets his feelings hurt just about once a day. His best friend Billy doesn't choose him for the softball team. His teacher Miss Robinson embarrasses him in front of his fifth-grade classmates. His mother tells him he's getting into the habit of having his feelings hurt--.

SIGNED EDITION. Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of extremely light bumping and rubbing. Red cloht covered boards have silver gilt lettering to the spine of the book. The text pages are clean & bright. Signed on the front endpaper in blue ink by the author: "With best wishes / Isabelle Holland". There is a thin line of white out above the signature - it looks as if the former owner did NOT want his name to be public. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. There is some beginning nicking and a couple of very tiny edge tears. Overall, the dust jacket is in very nice condition, but just doesn't look crisp. A very good+ copy overall. "Meg's parents had been divorced before she was born, and she had spent her first fifteen years following happily along in the wake of her blithely unpredictable mother.
