This is the first hardback, elongated edition -- originally published in the New Yorker Magazine. Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of extremely light bumping and rubbing. Tan paper covered boards hvae a lighter tan cloth spine wigh blue gilt lettering. The text pages are clean & bright. Endpapers are a solid off-white color. There is a previous owner's inked name on the front endpaper. Previous owner's name & date on front endpaper -- previous owner is quite possibly Jeff Burkhart , a minor screenwriter and member of crews on several Hollywood movies ( for details, please email). Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of very light bumping & rubbing. The front flap of the dust jacket has a couple of vertical creases. Overall, a nice bright copy.
