B&W Illustrations; Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Tan cloth covered boards with black lettering to front cover and spine of book. Top edge of book cover (going all the way around from front to back) has some small brownish spotting which appears to be some light foxing (?) but is NOT mold. Spine of book has a slight slant. Text pages clean & bright. Endpapers are fully illustrated. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. Spine of dust jacket, along with top front edge have some lightening / sunning to orangish-red cover. Dust jacket has several small edge tears , some light nicking and light edge wear. Overall, a very good copy. --Beloved not only for its beautiful geographic setting but for its venturesome spirit and lighthearted gaiety, San Francisco is numbered among the world's greatest cities--.

Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit ofvery light bumping and rubbing. Green paper covered boards have a tan cloth spine with orange and maroon lettering. Bottom spine end of book cover has a bit of lightly ground-in dirt. Text pages are generally clean & bright. Edges of text block have some spots of foxing / discoloration. Copyright page has two very small spots where tiny bits of food detrius were removed (shame on the former owner for eating and reading at the same time!). Endpapers are a light orange color. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping, rubbing & edge wear. Absorbent cream colored paper dust jacket has some light ground-in dirt and finger marks. Spine ends and corners of dust jacket have some light edge wear and nicking. There is one small edge tear to top spine end toward rear joint and there is also one small spot of color removed from paper where a price sticker (?) was removed Rear dust jacket has several small spots also. Front dust jacket flap has ink stamped (light) numbers that were probably a price beneath the printed publishers price.
