Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of extremely light bumping and rubbing. Mustard yellow paper covered boards have a red imitation leatherette spine with gilt lettering. The text pages are clean & bright. Endpapers are a solid mustard yellow color. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of very light bumping & rubbing. The dust jacket has some light, but even toning in general which makes the off-white covers appear more yellowish / cream colored. There is some beginning bumping to the spine of the dust jacket as well. Overall, a nice clean, bright copy, with the only real flaw being the toning. "It was all true! It had been true from the beginning. God in heaven, it was never fiction; it was fact! J. Edgar Hoover had not died the natural death of a sick old man. He had been assassinated!"

This book is in Fine condition and has a Fine dust jacket. The book and its contents are in clean, bright condition. The text pages are clean and bright. The dust jacket is crisp and clean. There is the barest hint of rubbing / wear to the top front edge of the dust jacket along with a very beginning touch of toning / darkening to the top dust jacket flap edges. Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of very light bumping. There is a quarter inch strip of sunning / toning to the bottom spine end of the book cover. Silver paper covered boards have a black cloth spine with silver gilt lettering (there's red gilt lettering to the front cover of the book as well). Text pages clean & bright. Endpapers are a solid blue color. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of very light bumping & rubbing. There are a couple of very beginning nicks / edge tears to the top front edge of the dust jacket and two small edge tears to the top spine end of the dust jacket which have a bit of beginning wear. The white dust jacket has not yellowed or toned at all. There are a couple of creases to the front dust jacket flap and one vertical crease to the rear flap as well. Overall, a nice clean, bright copy. "First found on a dead man, the filthy, mutilated, silver-coated paper has made its way from the Turkish hills of Toros Daglari to Ankara, from Rashid to Marrakesh, from Washington D. This book is in Very Good+ to Near Fine- condition and has a Very Good+ dust jacket. The book and its contents are in clean, bright condition. The text pages are clean and bright. There is a previous owner's address label adhered to the front endpaper. The white dust jacket has a couple of small edge tears, especially to the spine ends) and has started to yellow / tone a bit. There is some lightly ground-in dirt to the dust jacket, as well as one crease to the front flap. Written by Robert Ludlum in his early publishing years under a pseudonym because he was considered too prolific. "It becomes Andrew Trevayne's job to find out. He is picked for the assignment because he is extraordinary enough for it. His aerospace company made him a millionaire by the time he was thirty-five. He left it to become Undersecretary of State. Now he is head of one of the biggest foundations in the country. He is not only a self-made man, he is a true independent. No one can reach him. Or so it is thought."
