Color Illustrations; Children's Book. Spine ends & corners of book cover have extremely light bumping & rubbing. Top front cover of book has one small spot of color loss (looks like a small water spot). There is a bit of light spotting to top edge of rear cover (a bit of beginning waterspotting there as well) right at cover edge & corner. Tan cloth covered boards have black lettering to front cover and spine of book. Text pages are clean & bright. Endpapers are a solid off-white color and both front and rear endpapers have some beginning toning. Text has four full-color, full page illustrations. Included are: Rose and Witch, The Rosy Finger, The Day He Could Not Walk, and, Red Poison. Illustration and translation done by Myrtle B. McKenney and Seison N. Yoshioka.
