Endpapers are illustrated with maps. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of very light bumping & rubbing. Overall, a nice bright copy. Color Illustrations; Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping, rubbing & edge wear. Matte finish, paper covered boards with red lettering to front cover of book. There is one small indentation to front cover where it looks like something was placed on the book and sat oddly for a while. Top spine end of book cover has a small tear with wear / nicking that has been carefully repaired. Top spine end also has two tiny nick / tears to very edge. Bottom spine end has two small edge tears and some noticeable rubbing and edge wear (the ends of the spine hang over a bit and since they are just light paper, seem to take a bit of abuse. Corners of book cover (all four,) have some noticeable bumping and rubbing / paper loss. Text pages generally clean & bright. There is a bit of light finger dirt to several text pages. Front endpaper has a couple of light spots of discoloration. Overall, a very good- copy. --Through and through the many books of the Bible there weaves a single, living thread. Neither complete nor whole in any one book, this thread is the story of the acts of God among and for his people - Israel first, and then, by Jesus, for all the world--. Wangerin, though best known for his work on The Book of the Dun Cow, does write on religious subjects also. This particular bible is not seen that often.

Text pages are clean & bright. Endpapers are a mustard colored paper that matches the book cover. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. Dust jacket has a small semi-closed edge tear to top spine end, two tiny nicks to front edges (one at top and another at bottom edge) and another very small semi-closed edge tear to rear bottom edge of dust jacket. Overall, a very good+ copy. "In this absorbing, highly original fantasy, Chauntecleer, Perelote, and the other familiar characters of the Coop struggle to piece together their shattered lives in the aftermath of the terrible conflict with the dreaded Wyrm.
