Huxley, Aldous BRAVE NEW WORLD REVISITED New york Harper & Brothers 1958 1st Edition; 1st Printing Hardcover Very Good in Very Good- dust jacket; Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Black paper covered boards have a green cloth spine with black lettering. Text pages are clean & bright. Previous owner's inked name (very neatly ) on front pastedown at top edge. There is an indentation in the shape of a paper clip (without the rust that sometimes goes with ) to the first four pages starting with the front endpaper. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. Dust jacket has some ground - in dirt, edge wear, nicking and one edge worn tear to bottom front edge by spine joint (approximately one inch in length). There is some beginning rubbing to spine joints and rear cover has several small, but noticeable spots of ground - in dirt. Overall, a very good copy. Title pastedown has a bit of light edge wear and nicking. Rear cover of book has one small spot towards bottom edge. Text pages clean & bright. Previous owner's name inked neatly on front endpaper. Overall, a very good copy. Includes the short works: Two or Three Graces, Half-Holiday, The Monocle, and, Fairy Godmother. --The word -bore- is of doubtful etymology. Some authorities derive it from the verb meaning to pierce.
