Herbert, Frank DUNE Radnor, PA Chilton Book Company 1965 1st Edition; 7th Printing Hardcover Very Good in Very Good- dust jacket; This copy is the 7th printing of the first edition (printed some time during the 1970's--possibly 1975-- because there is an ISBN present on the dust jacket). Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping, rubbing & edge wear. Red paper covered boards have white lettering to spine of book. Both top and bottom edges of book cover have some light, but noticeable rubbing and there is light bumping to spine ends. Text pages are clean & bright. Endpapers are a solid white color. Spine ends and corners of dust jacket have some bumping, rubbing & edge wear. Dust jacket has been price clipped. Bottom front edge of dust jacket has a small triangular chip missing and there is a small edge tear to bottom front flap hinge -- front flap hinge has rubbing along its length. Top and bottom spine ends of dust jacket have edge wear, rubbing and bits missing (top spine end has a couple of smallish chips / chunks missing. Rear dust jacket (illustrated with map) has some rubbing and light ground-in dirt. Front cover of dust jacket has three or four veritical spots of rubbing / wear. Overall, a very good copy. The first (and the best) of the works in the Dune series. "The Duke must exchange his lands.
