Text pages generally clean & bright. Front edge of book has several smallish spots of discoloration & dirt. Black ink remainder mark to bottom edge of book. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. There are several very beginning edge tears to dust jacket and a bit of light dirt to white dust jacket cover. Brown cloth covered boards have dark brown lettering to spine of book. Text pages generally clean & bright -- however there is some beginning foxing (especially to half - title page) due to acid content of paper. Top edge of book has some darkening / toning. Endpapers are a plain off - white color. The book includes 20 full color, full page illustrations by Yvonne Gilbert, along with numerous black and white line drawings by Jennifer Campbell. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of very light bumping & rubbing. Overall, a nice bright copy.
