Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Tan cloth covered boards with brown cloth spine. Text pages clean & bright. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. There is some light, but ground-in dirt to dust jacket and spine of dust jacket shows some darkening due to sunning. Spine of dust jacket has the shadow of two grease pencil marks (one black & one red) which have been mostly erased. There is also some rubbing to spine of dust jacket. Overall, a very good copy. --The generous years of which Chet Huntley writes began just before the First World War and reached into the mid-twenties. For these were the years of Mr. Huntley's growing up on one of America's last frontiers -the prairies and towns of Montana at the time when traffic accidents were caused by runaway horses, and education meant the one-room school--.
