Front edge of book has two small spots of dirt. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. Bottom spine end of dust jacket shows a bit of beginning rubbing, there is one very small bump / nick to bottom front cover of dust jacket and top rear dust jacket flap has a small edge tear with nicking and a small chip. Rear flap of dust jacket has a light crease. Front flap of dust jacket has remnants of two price stickers , part of which have been removed--the top one by a previous owner who was not very careful & has pulled a bit of the text off the page in the process. Overall, a very good copy. --...will an audience accept a racialist interpretation of Romeo and Juliet, with Juliet and the Capulets played by black actors and actresses? Will they accept a black night-club singer as Othello? Or will they dismiss it all as a cheap gimmick? It is their reaction on this opening night on which depends the whole future of the Shireston and Douglas--.
