Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Grey cloth covered boards have red and grey lettering to the spine and front cover of the book. There is a slight rearward slant to spine of book. Text pages are generally clean, though noticeably darkened and fragile due to acid content of paper. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping & rubbing. Dust jacket has several very small edge tears, one very small chip missing from top spine end and another minute chip from bottom front corner of dust jacket. Overall, a very good+ copy. "Perry Mason's customary aplomb was disturbed. He had thought it would only require a little fast footwork to oust an unwanted, scheming -silent- partner for his beautiful midnight caller, Mildred Faulkner. She was a nice person-even Della Street liked her-but Perry wasn't aware of how many other people of questionable scruples were involved with the silent partner."
