Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Black cloth covered boards have green lettering (the binding is nearly identical to the original publication, just a bit rougher texture). Text pages are generally clean, though noticeably darkened and fragile due to acid content of paper. Endpapers also showing darkening. Front endpaper still has the original price sticker from J. C. Penny Co. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping, rubbing & edge wear. There are several very small edge tears and nicks to edges of dust jacket (mostly to spine ends and top corners). Bottom spine end of dust jacket has one very small chip missing. Still the boss wasn't often wrong...From this odd beginning, the vagaries of a whimsical fate catapult Perry Mason into the case of the missing diamonds, the homey woman who didn't look like a shoplifter, the methodical drunk, the thick reddish stain on a woman's kid shoe, and beautiful Ione Bedford."
