Grey paper covered boards have blue lettering to the spine and front cover of the book. Text pages are generally clean, though noticeably darkened and fragile due to acid content of paper. Endpapers are fairly clean & bright (made of a different type of paper). Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of light bumping, rubbing & edge wear. Dust jacket has several small edge tears, nicks and small chips missing (mostly to spine ends) along with a bit of light edge wear. Colors on dust jacket are still bright and vivid. Overall, a very good+ copy. "The little cluergyman had died, peacefully, in bed in the Madison Hotel. Diagnosis: an overdose of sleeping powder. But Douglas Selby, the newly-elected D.
