Author Name Klukowski, Stanley A. Title ESPERANTO FOR AMERICANS A Comprehensive, Concise Text Book of the International Language Binding Hardcover Book Condition Very Good with no dust jacket Edition Revised Edition Publisher Middleton, WI Esperanto Institute of America 1956 Seller ID 17961 Second revised and Enlarged Edition. Not exactly an Ex-library copy (hard to believe I wrote that, but...) this book includes an ink stamp from the Esperanto Library of Middleton, Wi and appears to be a stamp they used when books were mailed out to customers. There are no ex library marks to the book at all. Spine ends & corners of book covers have a bit of light bumping and rubbing. Green cloth covered boards with dulled gilt lettering to spine and front cover. Bottom spine end has one small white spot and there is some light edge wear to spine ends of book cover. Text pages clean & bright. Overall, a very good copy. --It may well be true that this number (of languages) will eventually diminish as national and international communication and travel increase. However, the evolution of world languages to one or two languages would take a thousand years if, indeed, it should ever become a reality. In the meantime the world desperately needs better understanding, and little time remains if civilization, and perhaps humanity itself, are to survive--.
