This book is illustrated throughout with both color and black and white illustrations. "Henry Marriott Paget (* 31 December 1857 in Clerkenwell , Middlesex ; † 27. March 1936 in London - Hampstead ) was a British painter and illustrator. HM Paget was the eldest of the three brothers Henry Marriott, Sidney and Walter and how he illustrated books and magazines in the late 19th and early 20th century. He was also a noted painter of British Symbolism and Art Nouveau . He usually drew "HMP" (see picture examples). He worked for The Sphere , where he was primarily known for his work as "illustrator was" during the Balkan War of 1912-13. Paget was the only Western eyewitness to the assassination of former Turkish Chief of Staff Nazim Pasha by a group led by Enver Pasha on 23 January 1913 which he recorded in a famous illustration for the London Illustrated "The Sphere"."
