B&W Photographs; This book is in Very Good+ condition and is lacking a dust jacket. The book and its contents are in mostly clean, bright condition. There is some light bumping, rubbing and wear to the spine ends, corners and edges of the book covers. The front cover has some toning. The text pages are mostly clean and bright, though there is some light toning to the edges of the pages. Included are black and white illustrations along with some very striking black and white photographs. "Etching is simply a process of printing in intaglio. That is, instead of a method of taking an impression on paper from a series of raised lines, etching is a form of engraving in which lines are eaten into a flat surface, these depressions being filled with ink then transferred to paper under pressure."
