Illustrated throughout with both black and white and full color illustrations on a yellowish / tannish paper. Endpapers are a solid brown flecked dark yellow color. Spine ends & corners of dust jacket have a bit of very light bumping & rubbing. Overall, nice clean, bright copy. The text copy is in Italian. The recipies however are rendered both in Italian (at the top) and English (at the bottom of the page). The book includes a preface by Franco Cristofori. Overall, a very nice copy. The recipes in this volume will take you from the beginning of the meal to the delicious desert ending. All recipies are based on the cuisine of the Emilio region of Italy, with the text in the dialect of Emilio as well.
