B&W Illustrations; This is small four fold brochure with eight pages of text. The brochure is in Very Good condition and was issued without a dust jacket. This brochure was a giveaway / ephemeral item from NASA for visitors of the Century Exposition, at the Seattle World's Fair. The brochure has a couple of small spots of ground-in dirt and foxing throughout. The text pages are mostly clean and bright. "At the fair, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and contributing aerospace industries displayed full-scale models of the Saturn V booster rocket and John Glenn's Mercury capsule. Glenn visited Seattle toward the end of the fair, and made appearances with the genuine Mercury capsule -- the Friendship Seven. This exhibit graphic shows the Space Capsule with its single astronaut." (from the Museum of History & Industry)
