This is a one page, autograph (handwritten) letter by Joaquin Miller - written in mostly in Spanish (and in his regularly poorly written hand that's hard to decipher in either English or Spanish). The letterhead is noticeably toned, and there is one tear to the top edge of the page at one of the two creases. (the page was folded in half twice). The text is written on the obverse only.
