This is a small folded sheet which make up an instructional booklet for using a gas mask during World War I. The booklet includes a string on a gromet for quick retrieval of instructions, and the interior area includes replacement plasters (3) and a data area for noting usage. Also included is a small heavy paper envelope to keep the instructions safe. The outer envelope has ground-in dirt, rubbing and wear along with several spots of foxing.
